Fischer Panda AGT-DC 10000 Generator Set

⚠ This adjustment should not be changed; otherwise warranty expires.

Tools: voltmeter, SW 10 wrench

1. Disconnect actuator electrical supply plug.
2. Unclamp countering nut at limitation screw with SW 10 wrench.
3. Connect voltmeter up to 100 V DC to clamps 7 and 8 of VCS.
4. Ensure no electrical load is applied.
5. Start generator.
6. Turn actuator spindle manually until voltmeter reads 33 V.
7. Tighten limit stop screw against speed regulator lever.
8. Secure limit stop screw with countering nut.
9. Check voltage is limited to max. 33 V without load.

Tools: voltmeter

1. Switch off all on-board electrical devices.
2. Start generator.
3. Measure AC voltage with voltmeter between generator housing and AC-Control box.
4. Measure AC voltage between generator housing and ground.
5. Measured voltage must not exceed 50 mV.
6. Check safety systems and leakage current relay if installed.

Tools: multimeter

1. Ensure generator is OFF and cannot be accidentally started.
2. Disconnect battery.
3. Remove power terminal box cover.
4. Remove all terminal box connections and cables.
5. Use multimeter to check continuity between winding connections.
6. If continuity is detected, send generator to factory or have stator rewound.

⚠ Ensure sensor tip is not screwed into root of gear tooth.

1. Align speed sensor tip with tip of a gear tooth.
2. Screw sensor in until it touches tooth tip.
3. Turn screw anticlockwise half a turn (0.3 to 0.8 mm).
4. Hold sensor with counter nut.

⚠ Generator must be stagnant before opening de-aerating points.

⚠ Do not open cooling water pump de-aerating screw while generator runs.

1. Open de-aerating screw at cooling water pump.
2. Open de-aerating screw at thermostat housing.
3. Fill cooling water at filler neck until level stops falling.
4. Close filler cap and de-aerating screws.
5. Start generator and run for max. 60 seconds.
6. Stop generator and repeat procedure several times.

⚠ Use cloth or absorbent paper under connection.

1. Switch main power switch on control panel to ON.
2. Push and hold failure bypass switch; fuel pump must run audibly.
3. Run fuel pump 3 to 4 minutes.
4. Open bleeding screw on fuel solenoid valve while holding switch.
5. Close bleeding screw when fuel runs without bubbles.
6. Release failure bypass switch and start unit.

⚠ A clogged filter causes decreased power output.

1. Clamp fuel inlet line.
2. Remove hoses from used filter.
3. Fit hoses to new filter.
4. Observe arrow on filter housing for fuel flow direction.

Tools: multigrip pliers

1. Close seawater stop cock.
2. Remove seawater pump cover screws.
3. Pull impeller from shaft with multigrip pliers.
4. Mark impeller for correct reinstallation.
5. Check impeller for damage and replace if necessary.
6. Lubricate impeller with glycerin or non-mineral lubricant.
7. Fit impeller on pump shaft.
8. Fasten cover with new seal.

1. Loosen fixing screw above alternator.
2. Loosen fixing screw below alternator slightly.
3. Press alternator toward thermostat housing.
4. Change v-belt (type XPZ 850).
5. Pull alternator back to tension belt.
6. Tighten fixing screws above and below alternator.

1. Open closure at housing front side.
2. Open closure at housing back side.
3. Loosen wing bolt inside housing and lift filter frame.
4. Change air filter (MANN C2039).

⚠ Do not exceed Max marking.

Tools: oil filter strap, wrench, hand pump

1. Open oil drain screw and drain oil into container.
2. Close oil drain screw.
3. Remove oil filter with strap and coat new gasket with oil.
4. Install new oil filter hand-tight.
5. Open oil filler neck and refill engine oil.
6. Wait briefly, then check dipstick; recommended 2/3 level.
