Before you start
- Ensure sensor tip is not screwed into root of gear tooth.
Procedure
- Align speed sensor tip with tip of a gear tooth.
- Screw sensor in until it touches tooth tip.
- Turn screw anticlockwise half a turn (0.3 to 0.8 mm).
- Hold sensor with counter nut.
