⚠ Verify area above unit is clear of overhead wires before raising the mast

1. Position unit at ground level or higher than the area to be illuminated
2. Place unit on firm, relatively flat ground (less than 5° slope) and block wheels
3. Rotate the tongue jack 90° and raise the trailer tongue off the towing vehicle
4. Use the grounding stud on the frame per NEC and local regulations
5. Pull outrigger locking pins and extend outriggers until pins snap into place
6. Rotate rear jack 90° and lower it, then level the trailer with all four jacks
7. Adjust lamp aim by loosening trunnion wing nuts, then tighten hardware

1. Apply automotive grease to internal gearing via jack cover or grease fitting near crank (side-wind models)
2. Rotate jack handle to distribute grease evenly
3. Apply lightweight oil to handle unit at both sides of tube (side-wind models)
4. Lubricate caster wheel axle bolt/nut assembly with lightweight oil if equipped
5. Apply lightweight oil to screw stem (top-wind models)

Tools: Grease gun

1. Remove small rubber plug on grease cap
2. Attach standard grease gun fitting to grease zerk fitting
3. Pump grease until new grease is visible around gun nozzle
4. Wipe excess grease from hub with clean cloth
5. Replace rubber plug

⚠ Replace cable immediately if damaged

⚠ Replace brake if slippage detected

1. Check winch is free of dirt, oil, grease, water, and foreign substances
2. Ensure all mounting bolts tightened to recommended torque values
3. Check connections are securely tightened and free of corrosion
4. Inspect cable for damage: cuts, knots, crushed or frayed portions, broken strands
5. Check brake for slippage or drift by visual inspection when winch is under load

1. Verify lifting equipment has sufficient capacity for unit weight
2. Close and lock all hoods and doors and stow the lights
3. Verify the cradle locking pin is in place
4. Attach slings, chains or hooks directly to the central lifting eye
5. Use upper or lower forklift pockets with care, approaching perpendicular to the unit

⚠ Do not extend mast beyond the colored mark on the second mast section

1. Set up and level the unit
2. Check mast cables for wear or damage and verify centering in pulleys
3. Press and hold the winch control toggle switch upward to extend mast to desired height
4. Rotate the mast using the rotation knob at the base until lights face desired direction

1. Remove all loads from the outlets
2. Switch individual light circuit breakers OFF
3. Switch the main circuit breaker OFF
4. Move the control power switch to STOP

1. Remove all loads from the outlets
2. Switch individual circuit breakers for each light OFF (O)
3. Switch the main circuit breaker OFF (O)
4. Move the control power switch to STOP

⚠ Do not continuously crank engine for more than ten seconds

⚠ Never start the engine with circuit breakers switched on

1. Verify main circuit breaker and individual light breakers are OFF (O)
2. Turn key to GLOW PLUG position, hold 10-15 seconds until glow plug indicator turns red
3. Turn key to START position, hold until engine cranks and starts
4. Release key; it moves to RUN position
5. Allow engine to reach normal operating temperature before switching on loads

⚠ Do not continuously crank engine for more than ten seconds

1. Verify main circuit breaker and individual light breakers are OFF
2. Turn key to GLOW PLUG position and hold five seconds or until indicator turns red
3. Turn key to START position and hold until engine cranks and starts
4. Release the key; it moves to RUN position
5. Allow engine to reach normal operating temperature before switching on loads

⚠ Maximum recommended highway towing speed is 45 mph (72 km/h)

1. Raise the rear jack and outrigger jacks fully into travel position
2. Use the tongue jack to couple the trailer to the towing vehicle hitch and attach safety chains
3. Lubricate the leveling jack grease fittings
4. Connect trailer wiring and check directional/brake lights
5. Verify mast cradle locking pin is secure and doors/enclosure are latched
6. Check tire inflation and tighten wheel lugs in sequence per torque specification
