1Series C4E-1D Cast Iron Spring-Flex Mounting Installation installation

- Space and arrange isolators per installation drawings; ship fully assembled.
- Set isolators on floor or sub-base; align centerlines with equipment mounting holes.
- Shim or grout as required; level all base plates at same elevation (1/4 in max difference).
- Unless specified, mountings need not be fastened to floor. If required, bolt through slots.
- Remove adjusting bolt C with nut B from top housing A; do not discard.
- Place machine onto top plate A; weight lowers upper housing onto lower housing.
- Align equipment mounting hole to top housing tapped hole.
- Turn nuts B up on leveling bolts so they will not interfere with leveling.
- Insert bolts C through machine base holes and hand-screw into tapped hole as far as possible.
- Adjust each isolator in sequence: screw down one complete turn on adjusting bolt.
- Adjust until 1/4 in gap is obtained on all mounts.
- Turn nut on adjusting bolt C down against machine leg and lock with wrench.
- Installation is complete.
