Kohler — Switching the ECM Powered Mode On

Before you start
- Placing the generator set in the ECM On mode will energize all electrical accessories on the generator set.
Procedure
- From the main menu, go to Generator Info and press the rotary selector dial.
- Go to Configuration and press the rotary selector dial.
- Go to Generator Config and press and hold the rotary selector dial for approx. 5 seconds until asked for a password.
- Enter the password using the rotary selector dial (default 00000).
- Select OK and press the rotary selector dial to enter edit mode.
- Scroll to ECM Powered Mode and press the rotary selector dial to highlight it.
- Rotate the dial to change the setting to ON and press the dial to confirm.
Specs & values
- Default password is 00000 (five zeros)
- After 6 minutes of inactivity the system exits the editing mode
