Before you start
- Do not wash the paper element or use pressurized air
Procedure
- Loosen the two cover retaining knobs and remove the cover.
- Rotate air filter latch counterclockwise to unlock and remove paper element.
- Replace a dirty, bent, or damaged element; do not wash or use pressurized air.
- Check air cleaner base and latch; replace damaged components and remove loose dirt carefully.
- Reinstall element flat and properly seated; rotate latch clockwise over molded lip.
- Install air cleaner cover and secure with the two retaining knobs.
