Before you start
- Accidental starting can cause severe injury or death. Remove the negative (-) lead first when disconnecting the battery; reconnect it last.
Procedure
- Press the generator set master control OFF/RESET button.
- Disconnect the power to the battery charger, if equipped.
- Disconnect the generator set engine starting battery(ies), negative (-) lead first.
