Before you start
- Shutdown switches are not the primary means to shut down the generator under normal conditions. Accidental activation prevents operation during a power outage.
Procedure
- Verify rocker switches are ON.
- Press MANUAL key on control panel keypad to start engine.
- With engine running, press one shutdown switch OFF; engine should shut down immediately.
- Clear alarm and restart engine to verify normal operation.
- Repeat for the second switch.
