Procedure
- Run generator until engine temperature reaches 60°C.
- Prepare generator: assure against start, open casing, release oil drain hose.
- Unscrew oil filling cap.
- Open oil drain screw with 17 mm wrench over container.
- Discharge used oil completely.
- Remove used oil filter by turning counterclockwise; clean oil screen.
- Clean filter holder and apply thin oil layer to new filter sealing.
- Screw in new filter by hand; refit oil drain screw with new sealing.
- Fill engine oil; check oil-level after every 0.75 litres.
- Run engine 10 minutes, stop, check oil-level again; clean up.
