Before you start
- V-belt is a wearing part; replacement interval must never exceed 250 operating hours.
Procedure
- Loosen fixing screw above alternator with 12 mm wrench.
- Loosen fixing screw below alternator.
- Push alternator toward thermostat housing.
- Replace V-belt with Quad Power XPZ 862.
- Tension by pulling back alternator; belt should yield approx. 1 cm.
- Retighten screws above and below alternator.
