Before you start
- Risk of scalding from hot cooling water.
Procedure
- Fill external expansion tank to max marking; open its cover temporarily.
- Open venting screw at internal cooling water pump until bubble-free coolant escapes; close.
- Open venting screw at thermostat housing; close when air-free water comes out.
- Start generator unloaded for approx. 10 seconds; switch off.
- Repeat until no more air comes out; fill expansion tank to max.
- Re-ventilate 10 operating hours after first start-up if necessary.
