Before you start
- Turn valve lever to OPEN position before loosening any air vent screw.
Procedure
- Move fuel filter valve lever to AIR position (filter with [AIR] valve).
- Move lever to ON position when fuel flows free of bubbles from the overflow pipe.
- Loosen air vent screw of the injection pump to prime fuel pipe and injection pump.
- Injection pipes and nozzles can be primed by cranking the engine.
