Before you start
- Adjust governor and voltage regulator for frequency changes per the service manual
Procedure
- Move generator set start/stop switch to STOP
- Disconnect engine starting battery, negative lead first; disconnect power to battery charger if equipped
- Use Figure 6-2 to determine generator set voltage configuration; note original voltage and reconnect as needed
