Procedure

  1. Change the engine oil and filter.
  2. Loosen the drive belt.
  3. Disconnect the spark plug wires and remove the spark plugs.
  4. Squirt approximately 30 ml (1 ounce) of fresh engine oil into each cylinder.
  5. Manually rotate the crankshaft 10-15 times to distribute the oil evenly in the cylinders.
  6. Install the spark plugs and reconnect the spark plug wires.
  7. Cover all exposed metal parts with a suitable protectant.
  8. Coat all electrical connectors with a suitable protectant.
