Before you start
- Battery acid can cause severe injury
Procedure
- Remove filler caps monthly for batteries with filler caps.
- Verify electrolyte reaches bottom of filler holes.
- Refill as necessary with distilled water; do not add fresh electrolyte.
- Tighten all filler caps.
- If water is added in freezing temperatures, run generator 20-30 minutes.
