Procedure
- Loosen two cover retaining knobs and remove cover.
- Remove paper element.
- Replace dirty, bent, or damaged element.
- Handle new elements carefully; do not use if sealing surfaces are damaged.
- When servicing, check air cleaner base is secured and not damaged.
- Check element cover for damage or improper fit.
- Remove any loose dirt or debris from air cleaner base.
- Reinstall paper element onto air cleaner base ensuring flat and properly seated.
- Install air cleaner cover and secure with two retaining knobs.
- Order genuine Kohler parts for element replacement.
