Before you start
- Disconnect battery before servicing to prevent accidental starting
Procedure
- Clean area around spark plug base
- Remove spark plug and check condition; replace if worn
- Check gap with wire feeler gauge; adjust by bending ground electrode
- Reinstall spark plug; torque to 24.4-29.8 Nm (18-22 ft. lb.)
