Procedure
- Start the engine and let it warm up.
- Close the fuel shutoff valve in the fuel supply line and allow the unit to shut down.
- While engine is still warm, drain the oil completely and refill crankcase with SAE 10W-30 For Service SE oil.
- Attach a tag to the engine indicating oil viscosity and classification.
- Remove spark plug and pour 2-3 tablespoons of clean engine oil into spark plug openings; reinstall plug.
- Remove the battery and store it in a cool, dry room on a wooden board.
- Clean and wipe the entire generator.
