Generac MDE330 — Shutting Down the Unit

Procedure

  1. Remove all loads by opening all circuit breakers.
  2. Allow engine to run approximately five minutes to cool down.
  3. Press the red engine STOP/RESET (O) button.
  4. Wait for the battery disconnect LED to turn off.
  5. Switch the battery disconnect switch to OFF.

  • ECU must run 90 seconds after shutdown to purge DEF
