Fischer Panda — Replacing the electric starter

Before you start

  • Disconnect battery before work.

Procedure

  1. Remove battery main switch; ensure no accidental start.
  2. Open capsule and pull off connector.
  3. Pull off rubber cap.
  4. Loosen hex nut with 13 mm wrench and remove electric connections.
  5. Loosen lower attachment screw with hex socket wrench.
  6. Slide socket wrench with extensions under exhaust manifold and loosen upper screw.
  7. Pull out electric starter and reinstall in reverse order.

  • Hex socket wrench 6 mm with long and short extensions Amazon
