Fischer Panda — Replacing the DC Alternator

Before you start
- Remove battery main switch
Procedure
- Open capsule; remove cable ties.
- Pull off rubber caps on electrical terminals.
- Remove nut and washer of 24 V DP+ terminal (red cable) with 10 mm wrench.
- Remove nut and washer of exciter terminal (grey cable) with 8 mm wrench.
- Remove nut and washer of charging voltage fault terminal (green cable) with 8 mm wrench.
- Loosen upper fixing screw with 13 mm wrench; loosen bottom fixing screw with 12 mm wrench.
- Use 12 mm wrench for counter nut; push alternator toward thermostat housing; remove V-belt.
- Remove both fixing screws and spacer.
- Loosen and remove earthing strip with 5 mm socket wrench; replace alternator; reinstall in reverse order.
