Before you start
- Generator and coolant can be hot during and after operation.
Procedure
- Place generator/ship level.
- Run generator about 10 minutes to warm engine; wait 3 minutes.
- Assure generator against accidental start.
- Open generator casing.
- Pull oil dipstick, clean, reinsert, wait 10 seconds.
- Pull and read oil level at lower end.
- Refill if under 1/3; recommended 2/3; do not exceed MAX.
