Procedure

  1. Close raw water stop cock.
  2. Remove cover of raw water pump by loosening housing screws.
  3. Pull impeller from shaft with multigrip pliers; mark position.
  4. Check impeller for damage and replace if necessary.
  5. Lubricate impeller with glycerin or non-mineral oil-based lubricant.
  6. Attach impeller to pump shaft in correct position.
  7. Fasten cover with a new seal.
