  • Genset operation with shipping screws in place will damage control components

Procedure

  1. Place vibration isolators on genset support structure, shim/grout to within 0.25 in (6mm) elevation of each other
  2. Loosen side snubber lock nuts so top plate moves freely
  3. Place genset onto isolators aligning skid mounting with threaded isolator hole
  4. Adjust leveling bolts for 0.25 in (6mm) nominal clearance between top plate and isolator base
  5. Adjust leveling bolts until set is level with clearance roughly equal on all isolators, then lock
  6. Leave snubber nuts loose for better isolation
  7. Model DFCE only: remove the two controller cabinet shipping screws
