Before you start
- Fuel must be kept clean and free of water; dirt or water can damage injection pump and nozzles.
Procedure
- Remove each fuel filter and fill with clean fuel.
- Put a light coat of fuel on the sealing gasket.
- Install and tighten filter by hand until the gasket just touches the filter head.
- Tighten the filter an additional one-half to three-fourths turn.

- Tighten filter one-half to three-fourths turn after gasket contact
