Before you start
- Accidental starting of the generator set can cause severe personal injury or death.
- Disconnect battery charger from AC source before disconnecting battery cables.
Procedure
- Move the 0/Manual/Auto switch on the control panel to the 0 (off) position.
- Turn off or remove AC power from the battery charger.
- Remove the negative (-) battery cable from the generator set starting battery.
