4Add Engine Oil maintenance
Tools: Funnel
- Loosen screws and remove engine service panel to access oil/fill drain plug
- Remove oil fill plug/dipstick
- Using supplied 4-cycle engine oil and funnel, slowly add oil until full
- Do not overfill; if oil level is too high, oil will drain through fill plug
Add Unleaded Gasoline to Gas Tank maintenance
Tools: Funnel
- Unscrew gas cap on top of tank and insert clean funnel
- Slowly add gasoline into fuel tank; level should NOT exceed filler neck
- Secure gas cap
Starting iGen1200 operation
⚠ Do not connect to any building electrical except through approved device
- Make sure nothing is plugged into power outlets
- Turn the fuel tank vent to the ON position
- Turn the engine/fuel control switch to the ON position
- Move the choke lever to the CHOKE position
- Firmly grasp and pull the recoil handle slowly until increased resistance, then apply rapid pull
- As engine starts and stabilizes, gradually move choke lever to RUN position
- Plug in electronic devices
Starting iGen2000, iGen2500 & iPro2500 operation
