12Fan Belt Adjustment adjustment
⚠ Do not operate the genset without the belt guard in place.
⚠ Accidental starting can cause severe personal injury or death; disconnect battery cables.
Tools: Belt guard removal tools
- Disconnect starting battery cables, negative cable first.
- Remove the belt guard from the front of the set.
- Loosen the bolt passing through the long slot in the alternator mounting bracket.
- Slide the alternator until tension is correct.
