| 000192 | Engine down |
| Symptom | Cause | Remedy |
|---|---|---|
| Alarms, warnings, and engine Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) faults are displayed. | When an alarm occurs, the controller automatically switches to this screen and remains there until the alarm is cleared. The Stop LED also flashes. | |
| Generator output incorrect | Check the incoming voltage to the ballast driver by checking the available voltage on the GFCI receptacle. Incoming voltage should be 120V ± 5V. If voltage is incorrect, the generator may require service. | |
| Lights not turned on | Inspect electronic control to see if lights are on. Turn lights on. | Turn lights on. If problems continue, contact Generac Mobile at 1-800-926-9768 for assistance. |
| Loose mast cable connector | Verify outside connector is connected properly to inside control box. | |
| Mast lights off, checking inside control box | Loose lighting connections | Inspect the connections inside the control box. |
| One or more lights do not turn on | Light breaker tripped. | Inspect light breakers. |
| Unit cranks but does not start | Low fuel level, Restricted air filter, Fuel flow obstructed, Air in fuel system, Glow plug(s) inoperable | Verify fuel level in tank., Inspect air filter for blockage., Inspect fuel supply hose from tank to fuel filter for cracks and abrasion., Check fuel pump operation., Purge air from fuel system., See the OEM engine manual for more information. |
| Unit is in STOP mode and flashes | Electrical Trip and Shutdown Fault has occurred | |
| Unit starts but stumbles and dies | Low ambient temperature, Intake heat inoperable, Air in fuel lines, High coolant temperature shutdown | Verify if ambient temperature is within unit limits., Inspect engine air inlet heater function., Purge air from fuel lines., Allow engine to cool. Check coolant level in radiator. Add coolant level if needed., Inspect radiator shroud and ducting for blockage and remove any foreign matter., Inspect for visible leaks. Check tension of water pump drive belt., Contact a GMASD to replace., Remove load on generator and restart engine. Check coolant temperature and shut engine down immediately if it starts to overheat. |
