Before you start

Procedure

  1. Stop engine, let cool
  2. Place oil pan under drain plug and filter
  3. Clean around drain plug and filter
  4. Turn oil filter counterclockwise and remove
  5. Remove oil drain plug and drain oil
  6. Replace drain plug
  7. Apply oil film to filter gasket, install new filter hand-turn plus 1/2-3/4 turn
  8. Fill crankcase with oil
