Procedure
- Check valve guides and replace if wear tolerances exceeded.
- Grind valve seats minimally to correct form and contact.
- Grind valve seal face as little as possible to remove damage.
- Check valve head edge measurement; replace if below wear tolerance.
- Always replace valves with crooked stems.
- Check integrity with marking paint; if leakage, grind valve seat again but not valve.
Specs & values
- Inlet sealing angle 29.5°
- Exhaust sealing angle 44.5°
- Inlet new valve min 1.8 mm, wear limit 1.4 mm
- Exhaust new valve min 1.6 mm, wear limit 1.2 mm
