Before you start
- The protective anodes on the drive and propeller must not be painted over.
Procedure
- Sand metal surfaces lightly with 120 grit emery paper and use finer paper on painted surfaces.
- Wash with cellulose thinners or an equivalent product.
- Fill and sand pores.
- Paint with Volvo Penta original primer plus a top coat and allow to harden.
- Coat with Volvo Penta anti-fouling paint in accordance with the package directions.
