Before you start
- No more than two washers may be used.
- If sufficient pressure cannot be obtained using the two thickest washers, the spring must be replaced.
Procedure
- Connect the injector to an injection tester.
- Slowly press down the tester lever until the injector opens and releases fuel.
- Read off the opening pressure on the tester pressure gauge.
- Fit adjusting washers to alter the setting if the reading does not agree with the Specifications.
- No more than two washers may be used; if pressure cannot be obtained, replace the spring.
