Before you start
- Tighten main bearing bolts symmetrically per sequence; apply clean lubricating oil to bearing surface and bolt threads
- Main bearing bolts can be reused 6 times; bolt extension length less than 172 mm
Procedure
- Remove main oil passage screw plug
- Remove cylinder liner
- Unscrew the crankcase fastening bolts
- Unscrew the main bearing bolt
- Remove sealing ring
