Before you start
- Valve stem sealing sleeve cannot be reused once removed
Procedure
- Remove the two ring bolts
- Loosen cylinder head auxiliary bolt nuts and take down the clamping block
- Loosen cylinder head main bolts
- Loosen ignition winding clamp plate bolt, remove ignition winding bush and O seal ring
- Place cylinder head on paperboard
- Disassemble the cylinder head gasket
- Remove cylinder head auxiliary bolts if replacing
- Remove valve train
- Remove valve stem sealing sleeve
