Before you start
- Never run the engine without an air cleaner element installed
- Never service the air cleaner element with the engine running

Procedure
- Remove air cleaner cover (1) and remove air filter element (2).
- Cover air inlet (3) with tape or clean cloth.
- Clean the inside of air cleaner cover (1) and the body holding the element.
- Inspect the replacement element for damage, dirt and debris.
- Remove the seal from the opening of the air inlet.
- Install a clean, undamaged air filter element (2).
- Install air cleaner cover (1).
- Reset the air cleaner service indicator.
