Before you start
- Batteries give off combustible gases which can explode
- The battery cables or the batteries should not be removed with the battery cover in place
- Always recycle a battery

Procedure
- Switch the engine to OFF; remove all electrical loads.
- Turn off and disconnect any battery chargers.
- Ensure the battery disconnect switch is in the OFF position.
- Disconnect the NEGATIVE "-" cable from the NEGATIVE "-" battery terminal.
- Disconnect the POSITIVE "+" cable from the POSITIVE "+" battery terminal.
- Remove the used battery.
- Install the new battery.
- Connect the POSITIVE "+" cable to the POSITIVE "+" battery terminal.
- Connect the NEGATIVE "-" cable to the NEGATIVE "-" battery terminal.
- Turn the battery disconnect switch to the ON position.
