Before you start
- Do not clean the filter with diesel fuel, solvent, or gasoline.
- Do not run the engine with the air cleaner removed.
Procedure
- Visually inspect air cleaner every 250 hours.
- Turbocharged units: take off hose clamp on bracket and the hump hose to detach air cleaner.
- Naturally aspirated units: remove air intake hose and four retaining bolts from intake box; remove rear cover.
- Inspect and wash element in soapy water if needed; rinse and dry thoroughly before reinstalling.
Specs & values
- Visually inspect every 250 hours; change every 2000 hours or as needed
