Before you start
- Do NOT run the engine with the air cleaner removed.
- Make sure no impurities enter the engine.
Procedure
- Inspect air cleaner every 250 hours; check more often in dusty conditions.
- Marine sets: if dirty, wash element in soapy water.
- Rinse and dry thoroughly before re-installing; replace if necessary.
- C-Series sets: element cannot be cleaned, replace when necessary.
