Before you start
- Do not clean filter with diesel fuel, solvent, or gasoline.
Procedure
- Inspect air cleaner every 250 hours.
- Turbocharged: remove hose clamp and hump hose to detach air cleaner.
- Ensure hump hose and new element are clean and installed properly.
- Naturally aspirated: remove intake hose and four retaining bolts.
- Remove rear cover to access element; wash in soapy water if needed.
- Rinse and dry thoroughly before reinstalling.
Specs & values
- Inspect every 250 hours
- Change every 2000 hours or as needed
