Before you start
- Never use a flushing oil.
- Dispose of waste oil in an approved manner.
Procedure
- The set is delivered with special break-in oil; change oil and filter after 50 hours.
- Use diesel-rated break-in oil during the first 100 hours.
- Change oil and filter again at 100 hours, then every 250 hours.
- In intermittent cold weather, change oil every 100 hours or six weeks.
- Change oil when engine is warm.
- Loosen clamp on oil change tube, remove cap, drain oil, replace cap and tube.
- Refill engine with recommended oil for the season.
