Before you start
- Use protective clothing and open filler cap carefully when engine is warm.
Procedure
- Check water level; about 1 in. (2.5 cm) below filler cap sealing surface when cold.
- Check oil level with dipstick; level must be in waffled area.
- Add same viscosity oil as already in crankcase.
- Check fuel tank level and open fuel valves.
- Keep battery switch ON while engine running.
