Before you start
- Do not use pry bars to remove injectors from cylinder head.
- Make sure sleeve is pulled out of injector hole.
Procedure
- Clean loose dirt around injectors and fuel lines.
- Relieve high pressure by loosening delivery line flare nuts at each injector.
- Remove delivery lines as an assembly; do not remove spacers; cover ends.
- Remove return line retaining clamps and return lines.
- Remove nuts on each side of injector body; remove hold-down bracket with 6 mm wrench or socket.
- Pull injector body from hole; discard sleeve; cover holes.
