Before you start
- Battery gas can explode; keep all flames and sparks away from batteries.
Procedure
- Check battery electrolyte level; add distilled water if necessary.
- Use booster and main batteries with same voltage rating.
- Connect positive booster terminal to positive main battery terminal.
- Connect negative booster terminal to ground on engine block.
- Remove booster battery after starting engine.
