Northern Lights M944T3F — Step 12: Connect generator set to vessel

Procedure

1. Connect exhaust elbow to vessel exhaust system. Pass 3 inch exhaust hose through right rear panel opening.
2. Connect sea water pump to vessel water inlet. Pass 3/4" ID hose through bottom right rear panel hole.
3. Connect fuel supply and return using Coast Guard approved rubber fuel hose. Fuel connections: 5/16-37T JIC inlet and 1/4-37T JIC outlet.
4. Connect DC control panel harness to genset engine harness plug through middle left lower rear panel hole.
5. Connect 12 volt battery leads using top slot on right rear panel.
6. Connect AC output leads from generator junction box to vessel power distribution panel through top left slot.
7. Optional: port used for water outlet in keel cooled applications.
