Before you start
- Any repair involving disassembly of the injection pump must be carried out by specially trained mechanics.
- Warranties become null and void if injection pump seals are broken by unauthorized persons.
Procedure
- Align the injection pump gear alignment mark with the idler gear alignment mark.
- Install the injection pump to the side of the engine, then end bolts, tube and bolts, then side bracket.
- Torque mounting bolts to 13.0 - 18.1 ft/lbs (17.7 to 24.5 N·m).
