Before you start
- Do not overtighten.
Procedure
- Remove and discard oil filters.
- Make sure old gasket is removed and discarded.
- Oil rubber gaskets on new filters and check contact surfaces.
- Screw new filters until packing firmly contacts sealing surface.
- Tighten a further half turn but not more.
- Start engine and check for leakage.
- Check oil level.
Specs & values
- Tighten new filter an additional half turn after packing contacts sealing surface.
