Before you start
- Dispose of waste oil in an approved manner.
Procedure
- Drain oil when engine is warm; replace drain cap and tube.
- Remove old oil filter; discard old gasket and clean mount face.
- Oil new filter gasket; install and tighten one-half turn by hand.
- Refill with recommended oil; start engine and check for leaks.
- Stop engine, wait 3 minutes, and check oil level.
