Before you start
- Do NOT run the engine with the air cleaner removed.
Procedure
- Inspect air cleaner every 250 hours; check more often in dusty conditions.
- Marine sets: if dirty, wash element in soapy water, rinse and dry before reinstalling.
- Replace if necessary.
- C-Series sets: element cannot be cleaned, replace when necessary.
- Ensure no impurities enter the engine while changing the element.
