Before you start
- Do NOT run the engine with the air cleaner removed.
Procedure
- Inspect air cleaner every 250 hours; check more often in dusty conditions.
- Marine sets: if dirty, wash element in soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly before reinstalling; replace if necessary.
- Industrial sets: element cannot be cleaned; replace it when necessary.
- Make sure no impurities enter the engine while changing the element.
